About This Adventure

If there is one experience to tick off your list while in the valley, it is kayaking or canoeing!

Duration

About

Paddling down from the iconic Hampden Bridge to the Bendeela camping grounds is a marvellous opportunity to be introduced to small rapid paddling. The first 2km consists of 3 or 4 grade 1 rapids with pools in between. The remaining 3km is a gentle stillwater paddle. There is ample opportunity to rest along the way and to discover the amazing array of wildlife – water dragons, azure kingfishers, lyrebirds, wombats, white breasted sea eagles, the list goes on and on. We then pick you up from the Bendeela camping ground and drop you back to your vehicles.
