Roll up your sleeves and get ready to prove yourself in this one-stop guide to baking bread. Get to grips with the foundations of baking, from using yeast to next-level kneading, then knock up 3 beautiful breads, including a showstopping stuffed loaf that’s guaranteed to impress your mates. Let’s bake!

What you’ll do:

  • Learn to mix, knead and prove like a pro as you make 2 loaves from scratch.
  • Unlock the foundations and principles of bread baking.
  • Discover tips and tricks for shaping dough, then feel pride transforming pre-proved wholemeal dough into your own mini loaves.
  • Tuck into your wholemeal loaves at our dining table and turn them into the best BLT you’ll ever have.
  • Leave with your focaccia and picnic loaves to tuck into at home.

What you’ll eat & drink:

  • Fresh rosemary focaccia
  • Delicious mini wholemeal loaves
  • An antipasti-stuffed picnic loaf
  • The world’s greatest BLT, with freshly baked bread, crispy bacon, crunchy lettuce and sweet tomatoes
  • A complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival (or a soft drink, if you prefer)
  • Water is provided throughout and you’re welcome to purchase wine, beer, spirits & mixers, cocktails and softs from our drinks menu.

What to expect:

  • Easy-to-follow demos, led by our expert teaching chef
  • Tuck into your BLT around our chef's table (or pack a box to take home, if you prefer)
  • A digital recipe pack with everything you need to recreate the magic at home
  • All ingredients, equipment and aprons will be provided
  • You'll work at your own station to recreate the dishes demonstrated by your teaching chef

  • You don’t have to be part of a pair to book. If you’re flying solo, you may be paired up with another person.
  • The duration of the class includes teaching demos and hands-on cooking, as well as time to tuck into delicious dishes at our chef’s table.
  • Only those who are actively taking part in a class are permitted at the Cookery School. Sadly, we are unable to accommodate spectators or provide a waiting area for friends and family.
