This remote hill top perch overlooks the Boxley Valley and is usually accessed by both RVs and most conventional autos.
At times there may be cattle in this area.
Important Information: The overlook adjacent to this individual or group camp will give you breathtaking views of the historic Boxley Valley. NOTE: There are cattle in this area during the Spring and early Summer. There is room for 2 to 3 RVs or tents at this site. Weather conditions occasionally make this site more challenging to reach. Should this occur during your visit we will relocate you to a site with easier access.
If you plan to use motorized transportation to recreate on the trails a park day use fee will apply in addition to the camping fee.
Weather in the Ozarks can shift quickly; plan for rain or cold snaps even in summer.
While there may be some nearby sources, carry enough water for drinking and cooking while staying off-grid.
