You start with your phone in hand and a list that promises a city-wide apocalypse: the app points you toward a downtown bench, a mural, a grocery aisle — each find nudging your team closer to ‘survival.’ The streets of Bowmanville feel friendly and compact, buildings dip to two-storey storefronts, and the occasional lake breeze from nearby Lake Ontario threads through the main drag as you race the clock and competing teams.

1 hour.
Suitable for most fitness levels; expect light urban walking and standing for short tasks
Groups range from solo players to teams — the app supports multiple players, but check the booking for any group-size caps.
The downtown route uses sidewalks and paved paths; many areas are stroller- and wheelchair-accessible, though individual challenges may require standing.
The experience runs in most weather; bring waterproof layers — cancellation policies typically require 24‑hour notice for refunds.
Bookings are for a private one-hour session; choose your start time at checkout and arrive a few minutes early to set up the app.
Bowmanville developed in the 19th century around milling and rail; the downtown retains period commercial buildings and a small harbour tied to Lake Ontario.
Stick to sidewalks and marked parks, dispose of litter in town bins, and support local businesses rather than leaving waste in public spaces.
