This tour bypasses the crowds of larger facilities and offers a more intimate and educational wine tasting tour. Tours depart from the Visitor’s Center at 302 E Main Street in Fredericksburg, Texas or for additional fee we can pick you up from your local hotel or B&B. From there, we will take you on an adventure to three boutique wineries, opportunity to get acquainted with wineries whose passion is to create great wines; provide you with a delicious boxed lunch from one of our local eateries, and share information about our Texas Wine Region and local history. After our last stop we will return you to your pickup location.

Boutique Wineries are small, privately owned, often Award winning wineries located in the Texas Wine Region. These wineries/tasting rooms are usually set in beautiful locations and your experience is privately scheduled by reservation for your tastings. Often the Owner or Wine Maker may be your host, but always it will be a knowledgeable member of the staff who will educate you on their particular wines as well as tell you about their production and history. Sometimes small bites are included in the tastings to show how their varieties pair well with food, and some tours include facility tours as well.
