As a result of heavy winter storms, the Lake Tahoe area commonly undergoes extensive roadwork during the summer months. Please be aware, roadwork has resumed on highway 28 between the Spooner Lake and Incline Village. This roadwork can result in massive travel delays during the week (Monday - Friday). These delays are commonly 30 minutes but can be in excess of 1-hour. We strongly recommend guests traveling from South Lake Tahoe to Incline Village, NV add an extra hour to their travel time.
**PLEASE NOTE: Alternative Clear Kayak Tour options are available through Clearly Tahoe. Our Clearly Explorer Experience is the ONLY Clear Kayak Tour that departs from South Lake Tahoe and takes guests on an incredibly one-way (point-to-point) guided 1-1.5 hour Clear Kayak Tour that launches directly from the vessel itself. Guests who prefer to avoid the crowds and traffic are strongly advised to contact our reservation office at (530)554-4664 for further assistance or visit us online to explore Clearly Tahoe experiences closer to your lodging destination.
