The boat slips away from Bodrum pier just after 17:30, the town’s white stone houses receding as the Aegean breathes across the bow. The captain steers toward Akvaryum Bay or Karaada, where sheer rock meets clear water and the sea dares you to dive in. Guests anchor in a calm cove to swim, snorkel, fish or simply listen as the waves push the boat gently while the sun lowers toward the horizon.

Bodrum occupies the ancient city of Halicarnassus; the area has been a maritime hub since antiquity and the coastline shows both limestone and volcanic rock influences.
The Aegean around Bodrum contains important seagrass (Posidonia) beds—avoid anchoring on them, minimize plastic use and take all waste ashore.
