Personalized intermediate instruction and family-friendly two-hour charters on the Connecticut River.
Captain Morgan's Boat Training & Charters, LLC is a Connecticut-based boating company offering hands‑on training and guided charters on the Connecticut River and nearby waters.
The company specializes in intermediate-level instruction and relaxed two‑hour charters aboard a comfortable 19-foot bowrider, plus personalized training sessions on customers’ own boats. Captain Morgan brings over 20 years of sailing and boating experience; Captain Dave provides advanced, twin-engine cruiser instruction for operators transitioning to larger vessels.
Programs include one-hour and two-hour intermediate boat training sessions, springtime intermediate training on 30-foot twin-engine cruisers, “training on your boat” with an independent contractor, two-hour fun rides for families and friends, and a scenic full moon river night tour. Guests are encouraged to bring food and drinks on charters; family-friendly trips emphasize safe, memorable time on the water.
Booking includes a mandatory vessel and location verification step to match each client with the right captain. Prospective clients are asked to text 860-416-0200 to confirm details and secure the appropriate instructor. All instruction focuses on hands-on skill building, situational awareness, and practical boat handling.
Safety, local knowledge, and personalized attention define the service. Captains hold professional experience operating both small bowriders and larger twin-engine cruisers and tailor lessons to skill level and boat type. Whether seeking to improve piloting skills or enjoy a guided sightseeing cruise, Captain Morgan's Boat Training & Charters, LLC delivers focused instruction and reliable charters with clear communication and decades of maritime experience.
