Anlässlich des Todestages von Rio Reiser am 20.08.1996 finden seit vielen Jahren im August zwei moderierte Dampferfahrten durch die Berliner Innenstadt über Spree und Landwehrkanal statt. Kurze Passagen aus verschiedenen Scherben-Biografien werden vorgelesen. Frühere Wegbegleiter erzählen in Kurzinterviews aus ihrem Leben mit Ton Steine Scherben und Musiker der Band spielen zusammen mit Gästen ihre Songs aus einer wilden Zeit. .
