The Blue River raft trip put-in is just downstream from Silverthorne, making it convenient for those looking for a Breckenridge, Dillon, or Frisco rafting adventure.
In just one and a half hours, you’ll float three miles of calm water before diving into three miles of awesome class II – class III whitewater.
The Blue River raft trip is dependent on snowpack and is usually an early season run. But, that doesn’t mean we haven’t or don’t run it late in the season! Be sure to give a reservations specialist a call for up-to-date status regarding Blue River water levels.
Cool fact: The Blue River starts atop Hoosier Pass on the south side of Breckenridge and works its way into Dillon Reservoir. From there, the Blue River releases north and joins the Colorado River near Kremmling.
This trip leaves from our Frisco location.
Avoid cotton, jeans & long pants if possible. Comfortable, quick-drying clothing is best. Any outdoor gear, such as neoprene, polypropylene, wool, or fleece is best. KODI rents wetsuits, booties and splash tops if you would like some extra protection. You’ll also want to bring hats, sunscreen, sunglasses and tennis shoes (that you don’t mind getting wet) or rubber-soled attachable (no flip-flops or Croc's) sport sandals.
KODI Rafting also offers wetsuits, booties and splash tops. Wetsuits are farmer johns, and a splash top is a heavy-duty rain jacket designed for the river. Gear is recommended on this trip.
Opt for lightweight, water-resistant clothing to stay comfortable during your trip.
Capture the excitement with waterproof cameras or phone cases to preserve your memories.
Drink plenty of water before and after the trip, especially during hot summer days.
Follow safety instructions from your guides to ensure a fun and secure experience.
