The track drops away before your feet do—moss and fern muffling each step as sandstone walls close in and creek water hurries past like it has a schedule. On the Grand Canyon Track the forest feels deliberately old: tall eucalypts tower above a cooler world of dripping rock and fern gullies, and every bend reveals another little cascade.
