You step out of the van to warm, briny air and a shoreline that seems to hold its breath—Blue Lagoon’s calm shallows glint under a low tropical sun. A short swim from shore reveals a riot of reef life: parrotfish nudge coral heads and colorful anthias dart between rock fingers. Later, the Ayung River pulls you inland, its current nudging the raft into pockets of froth and quiet pools where jungle leans close.
