Adventure tips

Bring reef-safe sunscreenThe Blue Lagoon has seagrass meadows—use reef-safe sunscreen to protect marine life and avoid oily residues on your skin.

Wear water shoesShallow entries can be rocky; water shoes protect feet during ladder exits and short shore wades.

Time your bookingMorning trips are cooler with softer light; afternoons are warmer and better for golden-hour photos—choose based on sun and sea preferences.

Motion-sickness prepIf you get seasick, take preventative meds or sit midship where motion is least pronounced.

Recommended gear

Swimwear and quick-dry towel: You’ll want to jump in immediately and dry off between sunbathing.
Reef-safe sunscreen: Protects skin and the Blue Lagoon’s seagrass and marine life.
Water shoes: Grips rocky entry points and protects against sharp surfaces when swimming ashore or using ladders.
Light windbreaker or cover-up: Useful for cooler mornings or breezy afternoons on deck.
