About

Lead-line rides is a fun event for groups of kids or adults!

Ideal for kids ages 4 to 12, but open to all ages (even adult parties!). Kids under 4 can ride but need to wear a helmet and have an adult side-walker.

Riders take turn on 3 different horses, led in-hand (participants do not ride on their own).

We use horses of various sizes (depending on the age of the riders) - not just ponies!

All riding is done indoors so no need to worry about the weather (note: arena's are not heated or air conditioned so participants need to dress accordingly).

Lead-Line Party for 10 riders: 1 hour of rides. Additional riders up to a max of 20 riders.

The 1-hr time-slot includes:

  • Taking turns on 3 horses (various sizes) lead line rides
  • Safety orientation
  • Grooming the miniature horses
  • Group photos
  • Unlimited additional guests can watch the rides and/or join your room rental
  • Fire Shack Rental or Indoor Room Rental: Optional after your Pony Party, additional cost for 3.5 hrs of added time

You can arrive 30 minutes before your riding starts to decorate your room or the fire shack! Please bring your own food and drinks and utensils and disposable table clothes are recommended for the tables. Tables and chairs included for up to 50 guests in the indoor room.

Wood and starting the fire is included in the fire shack rental, and seating for up to 20 people around the fire and 2 tables for food and gifts. Guests need to bring their own roasting sticks if roasting hot-dogs or marshmallows (Fire-Shack not recommended November through March

Safety and What to Wear All guests entering the barn must have closed toed shoes (no sandals or flats). For riders, long pants or jeans in the summer are suitable (no shorts or bare legs). In the winter, winter boots, winter jacket, gloves and hats are appropriate (arena is heated to 0 degrees in the winter). Helmets are mandatory and will be provided or riders can bring their own equestrian certified helmet. There is NO SMOKING anywhere on the property. Please ask your guests to smoke in their vehicles and dispose of cigarette buts in their vehicles. There are lots of flammable materials around horse stables and high risk and danger of fires. All guests must sign a copy of a liability release before riding. Please ensure if parents are dropping off kids that they sign a waiver at drop-off or in advance
