About This Adventure

Experience the vibrant birdlife of South Texas at King Ranch, where diverse habitats host stunning species like the white-tailed hawk and green jay. Join guided tours from November to March for an unforgettable 4-hour adventure, perfect for bird enthusiasts seeking unique sightings in breathtaking landscapes.

King Ranch is a showcase for the incredible diversity of wintering and tropical resident birds in South Texas.

We will visit habitats from wetlands to grasslands and brush country to look for birds including: least grebe, white-tailed hawk, crested caracara, vermillion flycatcher, great kiskadee, green jay, olive sparrow, and more.

Regularly scheduled tours available November through March. Private tours available year around.

This tour does NOT visit the Norias Division of the ranch where ferruginous pygmy-owls occur.

Not recommended for children under the age of 12.
