You step off the short ferry and the Atlantic wind greets you—salty, sharp, and playful. Inisheer (Inis Oírr), the smallest of the Aran Islands, rolls out narrow lanes, low stone walls and coastal views that dare you to keep looking. The tour begins on two wheels: a measured two-hour loop that takes you past a battered castle, the ribs of a shipwreck half-buried in rock, and archaeological fragments whose age outstrips most modern maps.

8–9 hours.
Suitable for general fitness; riders should be comfortable cycling on flat, uneven lanes for up to two hours.

A tractor-drawn carriage can be arranged at no extra charge so non-cyclists can join the guided island loop.
Yes—it's described as physically easy; infants must sit on laps and children should be able to ride a bike or use the carriage option.
The operator may cancel for bad weather; to receive a full refund cancel at least 24 hours before departure per the stated policy.
Inisheer’s stone walls and church ruins reflect millennia of settlement; the Aran Islands retain strong Gaelic language and fishing traditions.
Stick to marked lanes and avoid disturbing nesting seabirds; the Burren and Aran environs are sensitive karst landscapes where trampling and litter have outsized impacts.
