Things to Know

  • The size of bike provided may change day-of at the discretion of Acadia Bike rental staff.
  • Bikes are not permitted inside any vehicle. This can cause damage to the bike, and we don't want you to be responsible for anything other than your rental. There are options to ride into the park or use the Island Explorer's Bicycle Express Shuttle (late June - late September).
  • Acadia Bike assures all of its bikes are well-suited for Acadia National Park's famous carriage trails.

What to Bring

  • Camera (you'll want to capture the views from Rockefeller's roads!)
  • Sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, and anything to protect your skin from the sun (if you forget, we sell many of these items in our shop)
  • Water (our bikes have holders for standard water bottles)
