WHY CHOOSE THE HALF DAY BIGHORN SHEEP CANYON?

This is a perfect half day of fun for rafters with children between the ages of 5 and 13. You get the experience of fun, splashy rapids, without the craziness of our intermediate tour.

THE RUN DOWN

Once you’re in the boat and heading down the Arkansas River, you will enjoy watching for bighorn sheep as you prepare to navigate the splashy rapids like Five Points, Spike Buck, and Cowgirl Up. This family friendly trip will provide adventures for the entire family. After traveling about 9 miles down the river, you’ll load up on the bus and head back to Raft Masters. You’ll have the opportunity to purchase souvenirs and view the action-packed photos taken of you and your group on the biggest rapid of your trip.

  • Free lunch: All guests are invited to our complementary BBQ lunch of burgers and hot dogs, served between 11 AM and 12:30 PM.
  • Free photos: A third-party company takes photos of our rafting tours and you will receive a link at the conclusion of your trip to download them online.
  • Free Gear Rental: Raft Masters provides wetsuits, river shoes, and splash jackets to all guests, free of charge.

Free lunch and photos- Valid Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day only. Raft Masters is not responsible for photos that are missing or that may not be to your satisfaction. Each guest will receive one complimentary item for lunch, either a hot dog or a hamburger, with a fountain drink, chips, and a cookie. Each additional item will be $5.

Check In Failure to arrive within 15 minutes of your check-in time will result in the cancellation of your trip. Lunch will be served from 11 AM to 12:30 PM. If you are on a morning rafting trip, lunch will be served after you get back to our office. If you are on an afternoon trip, please arrive early enough to eat before your 12:45 PM check-in.

What Does Raft Masters Provide? Raft Masters offers complimentary use of wetsuits, splash jackets, and river shoes. Helmets and life jackets are also required and provided.

What to Bring You may bring sunglasses, a sunglasses retainer (i.e. Chums), sunscreen, lip balm, and a dry change of clothes for after your trip. These are all available for purchase in our gift shop.

How Many Guests Per Boat? We typically fit 6-8 guests per boat depending on water levels and trip selection.
