Pelican Rock is a great snorkeling option for those concerned with the length of their tour, due to younger guests or motion sickness, or those who prefer to spend most of their time swimming and snorkeling rather than cruising to the bays.

The several large rock formations surrounding Pelican Rock provide a lot of food for wildlife. While you almost will certainly see Pelicans giving the rock its name, it is not uncommon to spot sea lions basking in the sun, tropical fish, manta rays, and more. Anchoring near Pelican is only suitable for smaller vessels, due to the stronger current and narrow docking area. If conditions permit, you may swim to Lover’s beach, and for the adventure lovers, climbing to the top of Pelican Rock and jumping in with your GoPro is the ultimate Instagram-worthy experience.
