The city exhales a different rhythm after dark. Begin at Pariser Platz beneath the illuminated Brandenburg Gate; a quiet rickshaw glides away from the exhaust of daytime traffic and into the reflected lights along the Spree. Streetlamps pick out fragments of the Berlin City Palace while the skyline of Potsdamer Platz flickers like a modern constellation.

Operators use pedal-assisted rickshaws to reduce emissions; keep noise low and avoid littering to protect riverbank habitats and nocturnal wildlife.
