Lagoa, located in Portugal’s southern Algarve region, is renowned for some of Europe's most dramatic Atlantic coastlines. Among its many natural wonders is the Benagil Sea Cave—a cavern with an iconic circular skylight that draws adventurers and photographers alike. BrotheRootz - SUP Tours delivers an intimate, private kayaking experience from the nearby Carvalho Beach, allowing small groups to navigate this rugged shoreline away from the crowds. With a maximum group size of 12, the tours emphasize personalized attention from knowledgeable local guides who steer paddlers through calm turquoise waters, unveiling hidden grottos and limestone cliffs sculpted by centuries of ocean erosion.
The unique geology here offers striking formations of karst rock, filtering sunlight into surreal light patterns inside the caves. These crystalline waters provide a stunning backdrop for the included 4K photography, making it easy to capture memories with professional clarity. Beyond the famous Benagil Cave, the coastline bursts with lesser-known sea caves and quiet beaches accessible only by watercraft, inviting a sense of discovery on every paddle stroke.
BrotheRootz - SUP Tours stands out in the Algarve for its eco-conscious approach—prioritizing low impact on the marine environment and fostering respect for this fragile ecosystem. As a local company deeply connected to the region, their expertise and passion enrich every tour, bringing stories of the coastline’s natural and cultural heritage into the adventure. Whether you’re here for the cave’s intense blue hues or the thrill of navigating the Atlantic’s edge by kayak, this private tour offers a genuine, immersive experience in one of Portugal’s most remarkable coastal playgrounds.
