You step out of Belfast city centre into streets that still look ready for a camera to roll: a graffiti-scarred tunnel, a low-lit car park, the sober façade of a police headquarters. The guide leads the way, and the city becomes a stage—doors, alleyways and junctions that hosted the show’s most tense confrontations reveal small, cinematic details you’d miss on your own.
moderate.
2–3 hours.
Suitable for travelers with a moderate level of fitness who can walk continuously for about 2.5 hours and handle short stair sections.
The tour starts in central Belfast at the Irish Tour Tickets meeting point and finishes at the graffiti tunnel used in the series for AC-12’s covert meetings.
The operator notes strollers are possible but the route includes some steps and uneven surfaces; parents should be prepared to carry prams briefly.
Most stops are exterior locations; some interiors shown in the series are private sets or locations not open to the public.
Full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before departure; no refund for cancellations within 24 hours of the tour.
Belfast has a layered past—industrial-era shipbuilding and a complex political history have shaped the city and inform both the locations filmmakers choose and local perspectives on policing portrayed in the series.
Tours should minimize noise and avoid obstructing residential access; guides commonly brief groups to respect local communities and reduce wear on public spaces.
