About This Adventure

Join fellow beginners for an exciting introduction to paddleboarding! In this two-hour session, you'll learn essential techniques, water safety, and self-rescue skills from experienced instructors. Enjoy a supportive environment as you gain confidence on the water, making new friends while embarking on your adventure-filled paddling journey.

First time on a board?

This session is to introduce you to paddleboarding while meeting fellow new local paddlers in the same boat as you learn together as a group. You’ll learn the essentials to set you up on your paddling journey - paddling technique, water safety, how to self rescue, kit and equipment. Our SUP Instructors will teach you how to manoeuvre your board, turn and stand up on your board (if you want to) as well as have the opportunity to ask advice on how to start your new life of adventure on the water. We ask that all paddlers are comfortable in the water.

What to expect

Say hello to our crew at the cabin and we’ll help you with kit and equipment to get you ready for the water. We’ll run you through some essentials on land before walking your boards a couple metres to our private jetty.

After you’ve paddled your heart out and made your soul happy, we’ll pop back to the cabin to high five on today’s slice of adventure.

Meeting Point

At the Paddle Cabin unless we contact you 24 hours prior with a change of plan due to the weather or river conditions.
