On a typical morning you meet near Lagos, pile into a van with a small group, and head west where sandstone headlands frame long sandy beaches. The instructor briefs you on board handling while the wind and tide sketch the day’s possibilities.

No prior experience is required—lessons are designed for beginners, but participants must be confident swimmers.

What happens if weather or waves are unsafe?

Lessons are cancelled for unsafe conditions; you’ll be offered a full refund if cancelled at least 24 hours beforehand or rescheduled depending on availability.

How long is the in-water instruction?

Water time is about 2 hours within a 4–5 hour overall booking that includes transfers, briefings and changing time.

Are wetsuits and boards provided?

Yes, soft-top boards and wetsuits are included; instructors also provide theory on equipment and wave safety.
