About This Adventure

Join De Steek's engaging sewing workshop and create your own mini baby collection! Over four lessons, beginners will learn essential sewing skills while crafting two adorable garments, guided by expert fashion designer Itske van Deursen. Enjoy a fun, supportive environment and leave with cherished handmade baby clothes.

Duration: 4 lessons of 2h sessions each day

De Steek has now developed its own mini baby collection and you can now learn to make it yourself! The patterns have been developed for beginners, so you don't have to worry that the level is too high. We do recommend starting with the easiest pair of pants if you have never sewn before. In total it is possible to make two garments in this 8-hour course on Saturday afternoon (4 x 2h).

This course includes all materials for two items of clothing. We have opted for a slightly larger starting size so that you can enjoy the homemade pieces for longer and it is a little easier to make. Here are the size options: _size 68: 3-6 months _size 74: 6-9 months _size 80: 9-12 months _size 86: 12-18 months

Garments you can choose from: _Pants (short and/or long) _Bib _Wrap top _Sweater _Dungarettes* *It is recommended that you only start using the dungarees once you have gained a little more experience.

The patterns were developed by fashion designer Itske van Deursen. She specializes in baby clothing and has extensive experience in this industry.
