Salt on your lips and the marina’s diesel hum recede as the boat slips away from Cancún’s coastline. In an hour you’ll trade the hotel-zone skyline for blue that deepens into open water; instructors hand you gear and the first 35‑minute classroom-and-pool session settles the nerves so your second heartbeat belongs to the ocean.

No certification is required for this beginner program; the itinerary includes a 35‑minute theory lesson and pool practice before open water dives.
Typical demo dives are limited to about 33 ft (10 m) for comfort and safety while you learn skills.
All scuba equipment, bottled water, snacks, boat transfers, and dock fees are included — there are no hidden extras listed by the operator.
Participants must be able to swim and are not recommended if pregnant or if you have significant respiratory, cardiovascular, or recent ear/spinal injuries; do not fly within 24 hours after diving.
