About

Try something new or refresh your skills at a beginner group lesson to have guaranteed fun, where one of our experienced coaches will teach you all you need to know about riding along the amazing waves we get here! Dunnet beach is one of the beach learner beaches in the world!! Perfect for adults & kids, learning to surf is fun for everyone!

All equipment provided including high quality 5mm thick wetsuits (including boots, gloves and a hood if required).

Extras

  • Purchase 2 extra discounted group surf lessons for £65pp. You will receive 2 codes in your confirmation email which you can use to book your 2nd and 3rd lesson for a time that suits you. These extra lessons will be valid for 1 year after purchase.
  • We offer a Photo Package add on where you can request to get professional photos of your surfing experience with us! Select the box when booking and we'll get in touch with our photographer to find out if they are available. A copy of all the photos taken in your lesson will be We-transferred to your email address. We will only take payment if the photographer confirms its possible! Prices- £30 for up to 2 people £10 for each extra person

What to expect?

You'll meet your instructor at the beach carpark. Then we'll get changed and head down to the beach for an introduction covering theory & safety info. After a quick warm up we'll get in the water, where the instructor will give you personalised tips and help guide you into waves if necessary. You'll have lots of time to enjoy the water and waves while our instructor will help you to continue improving.

What to bring?

Please bring a towel, warm clothes for getting changed into afterwards and water. We recommend arriving with swimwear on as it makes getting changed easier.

Please Note

Times shown when booking can change so we can work with the wave conditions. We will get in touch if we need to change the time/ meeting point.

Requirements

  • All ages welcome! Under 8s must be accompanied by an adult to assist the child in the water (A wetsuit can be provided for this.)

  • Group lessons require a minimum of three people. If fewer than three people have booked for the day and time requested, we will get in contact with you 12 hours before your trip to either rebook to a different time or turn it into a private lesson.

Please note that private lessons will incur an additional fee.

Other Locations- We can also arrange surf lessons at Strathy beach, Farr beach and Durness. This incures an extra travel fee to help cover fuel- please contact us to inquire about this.
