About This Adventure

Experience the thrill of guided beginner rapids on the Cuyahoga River! Choose between two exciting routes: paddle through Class II rapids in Cuyahoga Falls or navigate the scenic Kent Rapids. Both adventures promise stunning views and a memorable journey, perfect for those looking to enhance their paddling skills in a fun environment.

About

We will determine the section of the river that we will run for these trips weekly. You will get an email with meeting location information.

Option 1: TO DOWNTOWN CUYAHOGA FALLS The GUIDED Beginner Rapids to Downtown Cuyahoga Falls is great for those with some experience! *Water levels will depend on skills required!

We will pick you up under the Portage Trail bridge and then take you up river to Waterworks Park to enjoy your adventure down the river through the Class II rapids and end back at the River Front .

We will guide you down the Cuyahoga River from Waterworks Park through the Bailey Road rapids, the rapids behind the car dealerships and finally the rapids past Burntwood Tavern. We will take out just past the Portage Trail Bridge.

Option 2: Kent Rapids Beginner Rapids to in Kent is great for those with a little more experience! *Water levels will depend on skills required!

We will meet at the Kramer Ball Fields in Kent. Then we will take the shuttle up river to River Bend Park. We will paddle down river past the iconic Standing Rock then through the rapids leading into the downtown Kent area. We will take out at the Kramer Ball Fields.
