North Shore Stables is a family-owned outdoor adventure and conservation operator located in Waialua on O'ahu’s North Shore. Situated on a 60-acre oceanfront property, the business combines hands-on restoration work with guided recreational experiences to highlight native Hawaiian shoreline ecosystems.
The property offers three primary experiences: the Beachfront ATV, Farm Animals & Native Hawaiian Plant Experience; the Malama Kai Fishing Experience; and the Malama Hawaii Planting Tour. The Beachfront ATV tour is promoted as the only ATV tour on O'ahu and includes driving 4-wheel ATVs along oceanfront trails, planting native shoreline plants to support ecosystem restoration, and meeting farm animals while learning about the history of Waialua. The Malama Kai Fishing Experience uses traditional bamboo poles to target To’ao and Ta’ape, focusing on removing invasive species and supporting shoreline habitat recovery. The Malama Hawaii Planting Tour is a 45-minute visit that teaches guests about native plants used to combat erosion and protect coastal ecosystems.
Guided by local experts, North Shore Stables emphasizes conservation, education, and community involvement. The operation is noted for blending outdoor adventure with practical restoration actions that directly support shoreline resilience. Visitors can expect family-friendly programming, photo opportunities along oceanfront trails, and a focus on protecting native Hawaiian coastal environments.
