You step onto the exposed ocean floor as the channel breathes out, the tide retreating to reveal a rippled expanse of sand and sculpted sandstone towers. Wind and salt have carved the Flowerpot Rocks into mushroom shapes; small trees cling to their caps as if daring the next high tide to undo them.
