Adventure Tips

Bring Sunscreen and Protective Clothing

The Texas sun can be intense, even on cloudy days, so protect your skin to stay comfortable throughout the trip.

Stay Hydrated

Carry plenty of water, as being out on the water can quickly dehydrate you, especially during warmer months.

Wear Non-Slip Footwear

Boats and jetties can be slippery; wearing proper footwear improves safety and stability on deck.

Bring a Camera with Zoom Lens

Wildlife like dolphins and sea birds can often be spotted near the jetties, so a zoom lens will help capture the action.
