About
Vagabond is a Maine-built fishing vessel (MDI 45) that is offering 2 1/2 - 3 hour family friendly fishing trips for mackerel and pollock. Departing from the Bar Harbor Inn Pier in downtown Bar Harbor. We are limiting our number of guests to 30 (Vagabond is USCG inspected for 42) so you'll have more space! Captain Randy is an experienced Maine fisherman, fishing in Maine since he was 3! He enjoys helping guests learn to catch fish and he grew up on these waters. Vagabond is a fiberglass MDI 45' built right here on Mount Desert Island and has a long fishing history. All tackle is provided. Fishing in Frenchman's Bay is also a scenic experience with natural wonders, wildlife, and scenery all around.
Dress warm in layers! It can be cool on the water. You can always take off your jacket or sweater but you will be miserable if it gets cold and you don't have it.
