Experience the thrill of fishing aboard the Bay King, a 55ft vessel renowned for its fishing prowess. With a limited capacity for comfort, join Captain Omar Salinas on a 3.5-hour adventure targeting a variety of fish in the stunning Upper Laguna Madre. All gear is provided—just bring your fishing license!
The Bay King is 55ft of bay fishing excellence! For many years this vessel fished the waters of the lower Laguna Madre out of South Padre Island. Starting March 2024, this legend makes its way to the upper Laguna Madre to call North Padre Island it’s new home.
The Bay King will be based out of Marker 37 in North Padre Island. While the Boat can accommodate up to 49 passengers, we will limit this number to around 25 to leave room for fishing. The Bay King's Head Captain Is Omar Salinas. Coming from a family of Captains and fisherman, there is no other person you want behind the helm when aspiring for a successful day of fishing.
All rod, reel, bait, and tackle will be included. Once aboard you will set off on a 3.5hr fishing trip targeting, Sand Trout, Whiting, Gafftopsail Catfish, Red Drum, Black Drum, and any other species of fish in the Upper Laguna Madre, and Corpus Christi Bay that happens to take the bait!
Park at Marker 37, walk through the store and to the marina on the other side. Check in at the large boat called the Bay King. Thank You!
Don't forget your fishing license. We do not sell them on property. They are sold many places, including Ace Hardware, online, or at a Stripes convenient store.
