About

Embark on your 2 hour, approximately 12.6 mile roundtrip railbike journey at Bay City Oregon. Your professionally trained tour guide will guide you on the rails through the Coastal Town of Bay City to down town Tillamook and back again.

Our new, lightweight rail bikes are safe and easy to pedal and are constructed with your safety in mind. Each rail bike seats four people and are equipped with adjustable seat belts. In addition, each participant will be provided with a safety vest. The rail bikes are operated with an easy to use hand brake and feature safety bumpers. Please be advised if your body weight exceeds 220 pounds, you may not be able to complete the tour.

Each rail car seats 4 people. Adults per person including children 48 inches tall (call for additional questions). Infants and young children whose feet DO NOT touch the pedals cannot ride. NO PETS.

Please Note: There is a weight limit of 220 lbs. per rider. Please Read and Submit the Terms-Conditions-Liability Waiver-Health Declaration Forms after checking out. Please be aware if your body weight is greater than 220 pounds you may have difficulty completing the tour.

Things to Know

  • Our seats are adjustable. Staff will adjust the seat for you.
  • You are required to wear a seat belt and Safety Vest at all times when sitting on the rail rider.
  • We must stop at all road crossings and cross at the direction of your Guide
  • We operate in all kinds of weather; hot, cold, rain and wind. Please be prepared.
  • You may see birds, animals, farmland, all kinds of trees and wild flowers
  • Drinking water and sun protection are advised and available for purchase Sorry no coolers are allowed.
  • No smoking or use of mind altering drugs or alcohol. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Rail Riding is a PHYSICAL SPORT and guests are EXPECTED to pedal unless you have prior arrangements with your group members and guide.
  • Please pedal at a sustainable pace so that you will be able to complete the tour, so not too fast and not too slow. ᅠ Gradient change is 1/2% or flat
  • The maximum weight is 220lbs per seat. Weight over this limit is unsafe
  • Our Staff will rotate the rail cars for the return trip and you can use the toilet facility and take a break before the return trip.
  • We encourage you to take pictures at the appropriate time.
