Basic Tritoon Rental at Rocky Branch Marina: 90-HP Tritoons for Groups in Spotsylvania

Rocky Branch Marina and Campground sits at 5153 Courthouse Rd in Spotsylvania, Virginia, and the Basic Tritoon rental is a straightforward, high-value way to own a day on the water without owning a boat. This 90-horsepower tritoon seats up to twelve people, pairs a broad, stable hull with a lively motor, and comes with built-in Bluetooth speakers for soundtrack-ready cruising. The rental is available by flexible blocks—half-day (four hours) and full-day options—plus multi-day discounts. Rates list at $300 for a half day and $400 for a full day; guests are responsible for fuel replacement, and taxes are extra. For families, first-time skippers, and groups who want a roomy platform for swimming, light fishing, or shoreline picnicking, the Basic Tritoon hits the sweet spot: forgiving stability for kids, a roomy deck for coolers and chairs, and enough power to make comfortable crossings or explore coves. The tritoon hull design reduces the tippy feeling of narrow craft, so you spend less time worrying about balance and more time scanning the shoreline for birds or pulling the anchor for a mid-day swim. Logistics are simple. Check-in takes place at Rocky Branch Marina and Campground—use the address above. Minimum renter age is 18. Gas and taxes are not included in the posted rates: budget accordingly and plan to top off fuel at the end of your rental. Discounts are offered to military personnel, teachers, and local heroes; ask about multi-day pricing if you want an extended lakeside escape. This rental is especially useful in the Spotsylvania Courthouse area because it connects easy water access with the county’s mix of forested shores, shallow coves, and historic landscapes. If you appreciate water and history, you can pair a day on the Basic Tritoon with visits to nearby Civil War sites and quiet picnic spots along the shore. The marina itself offers a classic small-waterway launch point with easy parking and a campground on site. Safety and comfort come first: life jackets, sunscreen, and a basic understanding of navigation rules will go a long way. The Tritoon's layout makes launching swimmers and hauling coolers straightforward, while its power makes short hops between coves quick. The operator information is not provided in the listing; guests should confirm check-in procedures via the booking link. For a social, flexible, and dependable day afloat near Spotsylvania Courthouse, the Basic Tritoon is an effective, no-frills choice that gets groups on the water with minimal fuss. Bring layered clothing for changing winds, a waterproof bag for phones, and a padded cooler to keep drinks cold; verify life jacket sizes for children, and consider bringing an inflatable paddleboard or kayak if you want more exploration options beyond the Tritoon's deck. Reserve early during summer.
