About

As night falls, Barcelona is transformed. The grand views over the city flicker to life and spectacles such as the magic fountain are a photographers dream. With a night photo tour of Barcelona, you will capture the best of the city in the most beautiful setting. From Thursday to Sunday the Sagrada Familia is illuminated, complimenting any Barcelona skyline view.

Whether you are starting off, a hobbyist, or have years of experience, our team of professional photographers will find superb photographic opportunities for all kinds of interests. Capture not just the grand landmarks, but the stream of car lights and the blurred passing of boats along the canals. Take advantage of the one-on-one experience of our private and personalized tour to develop your own creative vision while offering practical tips on photographing in low light and long exposures.

Each tour is crafted to the skills and needs of the participants. Apart from taking photos, you can also expect to learn:

  • Night photography basics
  • Light painting
  • Night portraiture - getting the most out of your flash
  • Long exposure light streaking - cars, boats
  • Reviewing your photography

You won't be on your feet the entire time though, we will start off with a coffee to go over your work and level of technical expertise so that our professional photographers can craft the perfect tour, suited directly to your skillset. Let us know if you have a particular location you want to shoot and we will work it into the itinerary.

Each tour is private, and we will not couple you with people you do not know. Feel free to bring along guests, such as other photographer friends, or your partner and family, but we ask you to limit the group to four people. This way we can work at your pace to make sure you take away the skills that last a lifetime.

What to Bring

Along with your camera and some comfortable walking shoes, make sure you don't forget a spare battery! Also we highly recommend bringing a tripod. If you don't have one, you can rent it when booking.

Adventure Tips

Bring a sturdy tripod

Night photography often requires long exposures, so a tripod ensures sharp images in low light conditions.

Arrive early for the best light

Getting to locations before sunset can help you set up and prepare for ideal shot timing during the blue hour.

Use manual camera settings

Practicing manual mode will give you greater control over the exposure and artistic effects like light trails.

Wear comfortable shoes and dress warmly

Evening outings in Barcelona can extend for hours, so comfortable, weather-appropriate attire is recommended.
