5 hours.
Light activity — must be comfortable getting in/out of the water and able to swim short distances with a snorkel.
You get two main snorkeling stops of about 45 minutes each—one for turtles and one over the wrecks—plus a longer bay stop of roughly 1h15 for swimming and lunch.
Snorkelling equipment is provided, but many guests bring their own masks for a better seal and clearer vision.
Yes; the tour is family‑friendly but children must be accompanied by an adult and be comfortable in the water.
Basic swimming ability is recommended; flotation aids are typically available and crew supervise all in‑water activity.
Bridgetown and the west coast evolved as maritime hubs; old shipwrecks along the coast reflect centuries of trade and occasional storms that reshaped local navigation routes.
Operators emphasize no‑touch rules for turtles and encourage reef‑safe sunscreen to limit chemical damage; sticking to marked swim areas reduces stress on seagrass beds and reefs.
Elegance Catamaran Cruises operates guided outdoor trips and adventures with an emphasis on safety, stewardship, and memorable experiences.
