The Payangan area developed around irrigation-driven rice farming; the local subak system and small family plots have shaped routes and land access for generations.
Riders are advised to stay on designated tracks to avoid trampling rice paddies and to minimize engine idling in sensitive areas; supporting local guides channels income back into the community.
