No Experience Required

Located just northwest of Austin, Texas, Lake Travis is a sparkling reservoir carved from the Colorado River, offering over 270 miles of scenic shoreline framed by limestone cliffs and rolling hill country. It’s a favorite local escape for watersports and lakeside gatherings, and Wave in Water’s Baby Shark Double Decker Barge brings a fresh, lively approach to enjoying this iconic Texas destination.

Docking at Mansfield Dam Park (4370 Mansfield Dam Rd, Austin, TX 78734), the Shark Tritoon Party Barge is more than a boat—it’s a floating celebration platform engineered for fun and relaxation. Its spacious double deck setup seats up to 16 guests plus a seasoned captain who knows every prime cove and swimming hole on this 18,000-acre lake.

The boat’s teak-seagrass decks provide safe footing for in-and-out of the water access, while a 3000-watt Bluetooth sound system powers a playlist that sets the mood—whether it’s a lively bachelor party, a birthday bash, or a team-building day out. The highlight: a thrilling water slide that arcs right into the lake, perfect for guests ready to trade the saltwater for fresh.

Wave in Water’s offering stands out in the Austin outdoor scene as the ultimate customizable lake day. Guests bring their own BBQ fixings and beverages, cooking and dining right on board or anchored alongside Lilly pads and floating platforms great for swimming and sunning. Life jackets and first aid kits come standard, making safety as much a priority as the fun.

From the hidden coves of Devil’s Cove to sun-soaked party spots along the shoreline, the captain pilots a route that matches your vibe. This is more than a boat trip—it’s a Texas-sized lakeside experience where memories form under wide open skies and the water calls you over and over.
