Adventure tips

Wear secure water shoesClosed‑toe, grippy water shoes protect toes and give purchase on slippery raft decks and riverbanks.

Hydrate and eat lightBring water and a light snack before departure—heavy meals before paddling can cause discomfort during rapids.

Protect electronicsUse the provided dry bag and add a small waterproof phone pouch for quick photos—expect splashes and brief submersion near drops.

Time your tripMorning runs have cooler air and softer sun; after heavy rains the river is livelier but currents are stronger—choose by comfort with stronger flow only if you’re confident.

Recommended gear

Closed‑toe water shoes: Protects feet on raft decks and rocky shorelines and gives secure footing when entering/exiting the raft.
Quick‑dry clothing: Light synthetic layers dry fast after splashes and keep you comfortable in tropical heat.
Waterproof phone case / small camera: Keeps electronics safe for river shots—operators provide a dry bag but a pouch offers extra security.
Reef‑safe sunscreen and hat: Protects skin during transfers and brief sun between shaded river stretches.
