Axe Throwing and Laser Tag Near Blandford Forum: A 90-Minute Private Group Rush

On the edge of Dorset’s rolling downs near Blandford Forum, Laser Tag & Axe Throwing at Laserguys Activities offers a 90-minute private session built for groups who want equal parts adrenaline and laughter. Located at Laserguys Activities, Blandford Forum DT11 9HT, United Kingdomtt, the experience pairs 45 minutes of coached axe throwing with three fast rounds of laser tag, all within a sheltered picnic area and purpose-built play zones. The itinerary is straightforward and social: arrive 10–15 minutes early, gear up, get a safety briefing from a dedicated instructor, then split time between axe lanes and a tactical laser arena. Key features include sheltered throwing lanes, foam-target axes, an outdoor laser tag course configured for small teams, and a reserved picnic spot where groups can spread out cakes, snacks, or prizes. This setup makes the activity especially well suited to family celebrations, birthdays, stag and hen parties, and corporate team-building in a compact Dorset setting. What sets this offering apart is the private-session format and the mix of analog skill and electronic combat. Axe throwing sharpens aim and concentration; laser tag rewards strategy, quick movement, and teamwork. The simplicity of the equipment and the quality of instruction mean newcomers and competitive players can both get immediate satisfaction without long setup or complicated rules. Sessions accommodate 8–12 players with a minimum booking spend equivalent to eight participants, and all safety waivers are handled digitally ahead of time. Visitors will appreciate how this energetic activity plugs into Blandford Forum’s broader outdoor scene. The town sits beside the River Stour and on the chalky Dorset downs, a landscape that invites post-game walks and pub visits among Georgian streets rebuilt after the great fire of 1731. Free on-site parking keeps logistics simple, and operators run most sessions year-round, pausing only for unsafe weather. Practical notes: wear sturdy shoes and comfortable clothes, bring water and sun or rain protection, and arrive ready to sign the digital waiver linked in your booking confirmation. Food isn’t included, but the picnic area and extra 30 minutes after gameplay make it ideal for cake and social time. For groups wanting a compact, memorable burst of activity near Blandford Forum, this mixed axe-and-laser session delivers hands-on coaching, healthy competition, and a surprisingly local flavour of Dorset recreation. Bookings require a minimum eight-person spend, and operators are flexible: you can adjust final numbers prior to your session and only pay for attendees present. Participants must be at least 10 years old; younger spectators are welcome in the picnic area under supervision. Instructors provide progressive challenges so players improve shot placement and tactical movement over the session. If weather looks risky the team will contact you to reschedule and preserve your deposit.
