Risk Disclosure
Adventure activities, by their very nature, entail levels of risk to both person and property. We endeavour to minimise these as much as possible but cannot guarantee your safety. We do require that you choose the activity that is most appropriate for your fitness level and expectations. The higher the river grade (1 – 5) for river trips, with 5 being the highest, the greater the risk. Choosing correctly helps ensure both the safety of yourself and others.
Trips depend on safe river levels; check conditions and be prepared for cancellations if levels are too high or low.
You’ll get wet, so pack swimwear and a towel to stay comfortable throughout the day.
Exposure on the river is intense; apply waterproof sunscreen before the trip and reapply as needed.
Bring a dry bag or use provided storage to protect cameras and phones from moisture during rafting.
The Rangitikei River has long been a lifeline for Māori iwi, with settlements and legends tied to its winding course.
