About

Come and meet our multi-award winning producer of Portuguese autochthonous breeds for an unforgettable farm encounter. Their mission is based on two fundamental principles; the preservation of Portuguese autochthonous breeds, and established agricultural practices through sustainable organic farming. Associated with entities such as NATURALFA, AMIBA, AGROBIO, ANCSUB and ANCABRA, our farm assures all good agricultural practices at a national level.

Discover this fascinating rural space dating back to the mid-19th century XIX, featuring original olive oil and grain mills. Since 2010, a number of changes have been made to significantly improve their use without neglecting the agricultural sector.

Currently the farm consists of 4 hectares in organic agriculture, divided into 3 slopes:

  • Agriculture - vine / corn / horticulture / aromatic / mixed orchard / mushrooms
  • Forest - autochthonous trees
  • Animal - 5 poultry parks / 1 sheep and goats park / 1 pig park

Includes

  • Arrival to the farm and welcome by the producer
  • Guided tour and workshop: Poultry, sheep, goats, and pigs
  • Guided tour and workshop: Vineyard, orchard, horticultural and aromatic
  • Guided tour and workshop: Autochthonous trees and chestnuts
  • Guided tour and workshop: Mushroom greenhouse in a wooden trunk
  • Mushroom tasting

Extra:

  • Lunch in typical restaurant - 20 euros / person - 15 euros / children (5 to 14 years old) - Free (children up to 4 years old)

Lunch includes:

  • Starters: Cornbread, spring onions with salt, mixed "alheira", pâté, small trouts, etc,
  • Veal roasted in oven wood or roasted goatling in oven wood or "cabidela" rice
  • Grilled trout
  • Dessert: Summer french toast, regional sweets and chocolate with pepper
