Discover a creative side at Copeland Spirits LTD with their Candle Painting Workshop. Personalized candles, expert guidance, and a welcoming atmosphere make this a must-try experience for craft lovers.
Copeland Spirits LTD operates The Copeland Distillery and offers guided distillery tours, tastings, and curated events that showcase gin, rum, and whiskey production.
Founder Gareth Irvine appears on select events and leads whiskey tastings where guests sample multiple expressions while learning brand history and tasting notes. The distillery experience gives visitors a chance to observe the distillation process, learn production techniques, and hear local narratives, including stories of smuggling connected to the area’s maritime past. Guests can taste signature cocktails and sample an unreleased single malt whiskey during experiential visits.
The business presents a variety of ticketed events: single‑topic whiskey tastings, collaborative workshops such as the Copeland Distillery X Le Contour Candles Candle Painting Workshop, and combined food-and-spirit evenings like Dine & Distil, which pairs a guided distillery tour and tasting with a curated dinner and cocktail pairings at the Bull and Claw in Donaghadee. Seasonal offerings include live-music nights such as the Jazz Evening on December 19th and themed summer tastings.
Many events list limited availability and published dates, so booking in advance is recommended. Copeland Spirits LTD focuses on small‑group hospitality, educational tasting formats, and event listings that clearly describe what participants can expect. Third‑party platforms such as The Adventure Collective provide public listings and summaries of upcoming trips and experiences.
