Embark on a magical 1.5-hour nighttime sleigh ride through a serene winter forest, pulled by majestic Finnhorses. Experience the thrill of potentially witnessing the Northern Lights, while enjoying hot juice and learning about Lapland's rich culture. This enchanting adventure promises unforgettable memories in a stunning winter wonderland.

About

Guests are provided with thermal clothing at the horse stables. Two strong and noble Finnhorses pull a wooden sleigh into the magical and peaceful wintery forest. In the middle of the ride we will stop to observe if the Northern Lights will show themselves. During the break, guests can enjoy hot juice and learn about the culture and nature of Lapland. duration of the program: 1,5 hrs (from pick-up to return), ride time about 45 minutes

Please note

  • The winter temperatures can vary anywhere between 0°C and -40°C (on average it's -14°C)

  • In the winter the most important things is to dress up in layers:

  • First of all you need good thermal long underwear, then another layer of something warm like wool or fleece

  • On the top you will need good garment, which should preferably be water and wind proof

  • The most important thing to remember is that you should be totally covered from head to toes

  • Don’t forget to bring your smile :)
