You step into a warm, wood-paneled cabin on a cold interior-Alaska night. Six large windows frame a wide northern sky; beyond them the low hills and spruce-dark horizon are nearly invisible, leaving only the stars and whatever green-white curtains the auroral oval throws overhead. Hot chocolate steams in your hands while a guide tests camera settings by the window — the stillness of the hill makes the aurora the main company.

No — the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and sightings depend on solar activity and local weather; tours run August 21–April 10 and staff may reschedule for poor conditions.
Yes — there’s an option with pickup/drop-off from Fairbanks and North Pole hotels; alternatively guests can drive to 2710 McCall Street and follow the driveway instructions.
Portrait photography is provided free of charge; guests are also welcome to use their own cameras—bring a tripod and spare batteries for long-exposure shots.
