Tales of hulking castles and dank airless dungeons, marble facades and sanctuary stones. Behold the lofty banking halls and chilling corridors of power, the regal opulence of the Town Hall and the crooked lamp lit alley-ways. Witness our city’s darkest and less well known hidden avenues in the now bustling commercial district…

Ending the immersive tour experience in the oldest morgue in the city, nestled quietly within a medieval garden, hidden beneath the Gothic spire of a floating chapel, entered through a trapdoor- named by Herman Melville himself… ‘The Liverpool Dead House’.

Things to remember & Accessibility

  • We have a ZERO policy on alcohol consumption before and during the tour and don't tolerate bad behaviour. An Early grave can be arranged.

  • If you are a Hen or Stag- Do Party- please get in touch with us direct before booking so we can help you plan your Shiverpool experience.

  • Guide Dogs Only- although we love all creatures great and small we can only permit guide dogs onto our show due to the nature of the experience.

  • Please dress appropriately for the weather. We strictly enjoy all weather and relish feeling the rain with howling winds being a real highlight so do wrap up warm with winter boots at the ready!

  • Please do not wear high heels -comfortable shoes and clothing is advised.

  • There are no toilet breaks so please go before you set off.

  • We have a NO SMOKING POLICY, this includes Vapes and other E- Cigarettes

  • Please note that you can bring your own torch. The underground location is not open to the public and so you enter at your own risk. We would not recommend this tour for those not firm on their feet, are visually impaired or have a delicate disposition.

This tour is non wheelchair accessible. Wherever possible Shiverpool always try to accommodate those with mobility issues or disabilities and make our tours inclusive for everyone. Please let us know when you book if you have any disabilities or mobility issues.
