You push through a gate and the village exhales — banana palms brush the back of your helmet and a narrow track opens into wet clay. The engine of a semi-automatic 250cc quad hums, and the guide leads you away from the tourist road into a lattice of rice paddies, rushing side streams and a dark cave mouth that seems to breathe cool air.

Yes, the course is designed for beginners to intermediate riders, but a moderate level of fitness and comfort with uneven terrain is recommended.
The track can get much muddier and more challenging in rain; the operator runs tours in light rain but heavy storms may affect safety — check cancellation policy for refunds.
Children under 13 can ride only as passengers with a parent; the activity is not recommended for pregnant travelers or those with serious spinal or cardiovascular issues.
The area follows the traditional Subak irrigation and rice-farming systems of Gianyar; riding here traverses working landscapes shaped by irrigation and volcanic soils.
Stick to designated trails to protect fragile rice terraces and avoid leaving litter; choosing guided, locally run operators helps funnel tourism revenue into the community.
Master Bali Tour operates guided outdoor trips and adventures with an emphasis on safety, stewardship, and memorable experiences.
