You step out of the van under a humid Balinese sky and the valley exhales: the Ayung River moving with intent, the rice terraces holding their bright green. The day begins with a short safety briefing beside a line of dusty quads, then the trail pulls you through narrow village tracks, over shallow streams and past terraces where farmers bend to the land. Later the river calls—whitewater stretches that push and guide the raft downstream between gorge walls and jungle-edged banks.
