Read the full experience

The engine kicks and the mountain answers — dust lifts, the city’s colored roofs shrink, and a narrow tunnel mouth seems to breathe as you pass. On this three-hour ATV loop you alternate between rough dirt tracks in the lower Sierra and the compressed streets and alleyways that thread Guanajuato’s historic core, giving a quick, kinetic counterpoint to the city’s slow-moving colonial plazas.
